Jeff Woods

Jeff Woods is a powerhouse indie blues-soul singer & songwriter in Nashville, TN. He is heavily influenced by the rich sounds of Muscle Shoals, Memphis, Motown, Chicago, Nashville, and his home roots of Bristol, TN. Jeff was born & raised into a musical family in East Tennessee that has performed on the Grand Ole Opry stage. His vocal pedigree began in church & you can hear those expressions of gospel-blues every time he is live. His debut album "Roots & Redemption" begins his musical journey and those spiritual tones are throughout the project.
Jeff's 2nd album "The Count" has been his most successful album thus far. This record represented his love of retro 70's soul mixed with modern undertones of the blues. The Nashville Scene Magazine declared this album one of the best soul-blues albums released in Nashville for 2018. In 2023, brought the release of a mixtape EP called "Weightless Weekends". This EP shows Jeff's versatility as a songwriter and as artist. The lead single "Weightless" shows a diversify of powerful songwriting mixed with messaging themes of feel good vibes.
The “Jeff Woods Band” has been a staple in the Nashville music scene for a long time. Playing a ton of the hottest clubs & venues in Middle Tennessee. Their live show is one you don’t want to miss! His band is comprised of amazing musicianship. Jeff has opened for legends like: Steve Cropper, Kansas, Joe Bonamassa, John Berry, KC-i & Jojo, and several others. His love for the blues has been a staple in his life. Jeff grew up listening to artists like Jonny Lang, Marc Broussard, Amos Lee, Mavis Staples, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Al Green, Santana, The Jeff Healey Band, Bonnie Raitt, and BB King. His pallet of loving such a various group of artists & being influenced by them, has shaped his talent to make him versatile enough to sing on any stage. Jeff Woods has been called a ‘storyteller of the soul”. You will feel his passion and soul in every note written & performed.
